It must be open, participatory, and accountable to the very people it is meant to serve,\u201d said <strong>Alfred Gitau Mwaura, Founder of KAI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KAI notes that despite constitutional guarantees under <strong>Article 10 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010<\/strong>, many citizens\u2014especially the marginalised\u2014still face challenges in accessing justice and holding police accountable. Cases of corruption, abuse of power, and slow justice continue to erode public confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address these challenges, KAI is calling for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Transparent digital platforms<\/strong> to track court cases and police accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Community forums and participatory dialogues<\/strong> to strengthen citizen voices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Legal education and advocacy<\/strong> to empower vulnerable groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Partnerships with government, civil society, and international allies<\/strong> to entrench accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKenyans deserve a justice system that is fair, transparent, and accountable.
